We used Manuscript Wish List data from the 100 most recently updated agent and editor profiles (as of January 31, 2025) to compile this report of the top trending book genres for 2025 across fiction and non-fiction. The spreadsheet includes the agent or editor’s name, agency or publisher, QueryTracker link, Publishers Marketplace link, and their genre preferences in fiction and non-fiction.
